Two churches in China’s eastern-coastal Jiangsu Province and southwestern Sichuan Province announced the resumptions of Sunday services.
Enyi Gathering Site affiliated with Dongyuan Church in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, issued a notice on May 5, stating it would resume two face-to-face Sunday services starting from May 8, with weekday gatherings still suspended.
The next day, Shangxiang Church in Chengdu, Sichuan, said two Saturday services and two Sunday services would be restarted from that weekend, reminding its members to book their places for two morning services, as the number of worshippers in each service is limited to no more than 100.
