Shaanxi Bible School organized an emergency response drill for COVID-19 on campus.
In the drill held on April 27, with the Vice-Principal Pastor Yang Haitao as the chief commander, they dealt with three scenarios: close contacts in the school, initially screening positive people in the school, and cluster outbreak of COVID-19 in the school, according to the school.
During the drill, they focused on the following four aspects. The first was information reporting, which should be reported to local communities and competent authorities at the same time. The second was management and control measures imposed on personnel coming or returning to the school to reduce the internal flow of personnel. The third way was cooperation with emergency response plans, such as personnel transfer, nucleic acid testing, epidemiological investigation and tracking, epidemic site control, emotional comfort, and logistical support. The last point was terminal disinfection, at the same time, clearing and disinfecting the air conditioning and ventilation systems.
The school said, "Through the COVID-19 emergency response drill, all teachers and students from Shaanxi Bible School now clearly know how to deal with the epidemic on campus. They can carry out emergency response work calmly and in an orderly manner, stopping the spread of the epidemic. At the same time, they can do personal protection work to ensure campus safety in all aspects."
