A training course for women’s ministry was hosted in southwest China’s Yunnan Province.

From April 10 to 14, Yunnan CC&TSPM organized the 22nd Women's Ministry Training Class in Kunming with the participation of 45 women pastoral workers from Han and ethnic minorities of Yi, Lisu, Wa, Zhuang, Miao, Jingpo, Hani, and Bai in 16 prefectures across the province, said CCC&TSPM.

On April 11, Rev. Deng Jianwei, president of the Yunnan Christian Council, encouraged them to explore the path of sinicization of Christianity with Yunnan characteristics and to participate in ministries of the Yunnan church to promote the inheritance of the Christian cause in Yunnan.

Rev. Wu Jinzhen, vice dean of Academic Affairs at Yanjing Theological Seminary, was invited to teach courses titled "Women's Ministry in the Direction of Contextualization of Christianity in China" and "Feminist Theology." Experts and scholars were also present to give lectures such as "The Spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC," "Marriage and Family," "Women's Health," and about The Civil Code of the People's Republic in China.
