Shaanxi Provincial CC&TSPM contributed extracurricular reading books valued at 27,000 yuan to a local primary school.
After raising funds from a variety of parties, a total of 27,000 yuan worth of books for extracurricular reading was donated to the Duqu Street Central School in Chang'an District, Xi'an City.
"As a practice of promoting rural revitalization, this donation showcased the high attention the provincial CC&TSPM paid to education in Shaanxi Province," said CCC&TSPM.
Rev. Jia Haiguang, vice general secretary of the Shaanxi Christian Council (CC), attended the donation event, which was well-received by local organizations as well as the school's students and faculty.
