A church in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, promoted the "Read the Bible Together" initiative.
On June 29, Beimen Church held its 10th Bible Recitation Competition for the first half of 2024. In all, 25 groups from eight "families" participated in the competition, with over 230 competitors. This event had the highest number of participants and teams since the church started holding the biannual Bible competitions in 2019.
The event was well-organized, with specific roles assigned for scoring, review, supervision, microphone handling, sound control, and PPT playback.
The competition categories included: true/false questions, multiple-choice questions, recitation questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, buzzer questions, and additional round questions.
After three hours of intense competition, Matthew Group 2, Group 5, and Disciples Group 3 won first, second, and third place, respectively.
Senior Pastor Huang Lihong encouraged them by saying, "The main purpose of the competition is to inspire believers to hunger for the word of the Lord; the ranking is not the most important thing."
