A retirement service for five pastors was conducted at a church in Ningxia.
Shizuishan Municipal CC&TSPM in the province hosted the service at Dawukou Church on July 25, according to CCC&TSPM.
Rev. Li Renzhong, director and president of Ningxia CC&TSPM, gave a sermon during the service, attended by a total of 17 pastors and elders from all over the city, more than 30 church council members from diverse churches, and more than 200 believers from the church.
Rev. Li commemorated old pastors who had rested in the embrace of the Lord in Ningxia churches with gratitude for their contributions to the church. He encouraged the to-be retired “not to retire from their posts,” but to glorify God more in their respective services, encouraging the succeeding young pastors to take up their responsibilities and serve prudently.
After the sermon, Rev. Li presented retirement certificates to the five pastors.
