The Three-Self Patriotic Movement Committee (TSPM) in Tai'an County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, held its annual Christmas celebration and New Year's Day thanksgiving dance fellowship for the entire county's Christian community on December 30.
Pastors, co-workers, and believers from various Christian activity venues in the county participated in the dance fellowship.
Elder Shi Xiuchen, vice chairman of Anshan TSPM and chairman of Tai'an County TSPM, delivered an opening speech at the dance fellowship meeting.
Following the large-scale opening dance titled "O Church Arise," more than ten activity venues in Tai'an County presented nearly fifty dances, including "All Creation Praises Him," "Joy to the World," "We Are Family," "Sing and Dance," "Black and White," "Love Follows Us," and "Follow the Lord Without Regrets."
At this year's dance fellowship, the main leaders of local TSPM sang and danced in praise with the congregation, including the young people and the elderly, grandparents with grandchildren, and couples. The number of dances and participants has not only increased compared to previous years, but also there has been a new improvement in terms of choreography, music accompaniment, and costumes.
Among the performers were those suffering from cancer, and some members who labor in rural fields. Some believers from rural activity venues rehearsed and performed amidst the busy winter work in plastic greenhouses; and some came from activity sites nearly forty kilometers away.
