Hepu County Church in Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, hosted a Spring Festival couplet writing and gifting event last Saturday to welcome the upcoming Chinese New Year.
During the charity event on January 11, calligraphers from Hepu County volunteered their talents to create Spring Festival couplets, sharing blessings and hopes for the upcoming Lunar New Year.
The charity activity drew numerous participants, who admired the calligraphers' craftsmanship while selecting their favorite Spring Festival couplets. Over 300 couplets were gifted to believers and community residents by the calligraphers.
Church leaders hoped that such activities would foster greater interaction and communication between the church and the community, helping everyone experience "For God so loved the world" and the compassion and warmth of the Christian church.
