In Jiaocheng District, Ningde City, Fujian Province, there is a historic Christian church known as the Beimen Church, with origins tracing back to the late 19th century. Once among the largest brick-and-wood structure churches in Asia, the church was reconstructed on its original site following a fire in 1994. Since then it has been actively serving the community. Over the past two decades, the congregation has grown significantly, leading to an increased demand for worship activities that the original structure can no longer accommodate.

In response to this need, and with the support of church leadership and local authorities, plans were developed to construct a new church building, located at No. 6, Hefeng South Road, Ningde City. This new facility was officially completed in 2025.

On May 2, the Christian community in Ningde hosted a grand dedication and thanksgiving worship service for the rebuilt Beimen Church, also referred to as "Cuixian Church." The event drew more than 2,000 attendees, including pastors, church co-workers, and members from both local and outside communities.

Rev. Yue Qinghua, vice president of CCC, chairperson of Fujian TSPM, and president of Fujian Theological Seminary, delivered a sermon entitled "Preparing for the House of the Lord in Difficult Times."

In his sermon, Pastor Yue reflected on the story of David's preparation for the temple construction as described in 1 Chronicles 22. He expanded on three key themes: "Glorifying God," "Passing on the Faith," and "Everything for God." He encouraged the congregation to grasp divine teachings relevant to the contemporary era, to clarify their mission and responsibilities, and to navigate the new opportunities and challenges facing the church. Additionally, he referenced 2 Chronicles 7:16 to extend blessings to the church.

Following the sermon, Senior Pastor Lin Shengfeng of the church provided a brief overview of the new church's construction to the congregation, highlighting its significance for the community.
