Jiangsu Seminary Graduates Encouraged to Adapt and Integrate into the Rapid Development

2016 Commencement of Jiangsu Theological Seminary is just held in early July, with 89 graduates equipped and ready to serve in grass-root churches.

In the commencement speech given by Rev. Xie Fenfen, students are encouraged to “strengthen brothers.”

The commencement is hosted by the Vice-Dean, Rev. Zhang Kequan. The local Bureau of Religious Affairs also attended the ceremony and the representatives delivered speech.

Students are encouraged to adapt and integrate into the rapid development, be faithful to the Gospel, dare to innovation in serving.

A fund-launch-ceremony is also held during the commencement, to support good seminary students to complete their studies.

Jiangsu Theological Seminary is a regional seminary for training pastors in Jiangsu Province. Founded in 1998 to meet the need for pastors for the growing church in this province, Jiangsu Seminary has grown from approximately 100 students to a four-year, Bachelor’s level institution with more than 300 students on two campuses. Over 20% of the students at Jiangsu have already completed a bachelor’s degree in another field of study.
