In China’s coastal-northeastern Zhejiang Province, volunteers from the Jiaojiang Church in Taizhou paid a visit to the disabled.

The Taizhou Municipal Charity Association hosted a New Year’s party at the Home for the Disabled in Zhang'an Street, Jiaojiang District on December 24. The activities included craft competitions, interactive games, and sports and cultural competitions. Awards and gifts were presented to the disabled persons.

In order to improve their mental capabilities, five volunteers from the church taught them to kick a shuttlecock and throw darts.

More than 30 disabled people participated in these individual and team competitions, proud of themselves after finishing each competition.

The volunteers presented awards to those who achieved excellent results, giving apples and gifts to other disabled persons.

In the end, Kong Ge, the leader of the voluntary group, greeted the disabled persons on behalf of the volunteer association, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
