Three pastors and one elder were ordained by Guangxi CC&TSPM on October 30.
During the service held in Emmanuel Church located in the station of Guangxi CC&TSPM, Rev. Xiao Jifu, president of Guangxi Christian Council (CC), shared a sermon titled Pastors Should be Careful, reminding the candidates waiting to be ordained to watch over themselves and all the flock and to abide in the teaching of the Bible.
The ordination ceremony was hosted by Rev. Wang Conglian, chairman of Guangxi Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), who laid hands with other three pastors on the four fellow workers after they shared their understanding of the office to which they have been called. Rev. Wang declared that they could afterward engage in officiating baptisms and communions, explaining the Bible to preach the gospel, and governing the church in accordance with its guidelines.
