On October 9, Guangdong CC&TSPM conducted an ordination service at Grace Christian Church in Huizhou City, ordaining five church staff.
More than 300 pastors, church members, and representatives of believers from many churches in Huizhou City witnessed the special event together, according to Guangdong CC&TSPM.
Fan Hong'en, president of Guangdong TSPM, conducted the ordination service, encouraging the new pastors to serve the Lord faithfully and shepherd His flock and to learn to be like Jesus and be humble in all things. Finally, he exhorted them to give accounts of themselves to the Lord and be faithful in all things.
Currently, there are 44 churches in Huizhou, with more than 15,000 believers, but only 15 serving pastors.
"Ordaining five pastors this time could further enrich the pastoral team in Huizhou churches, greatly relieving the pressure of many flocks but few shepherds, and is of significance to facilitate the healthy development of churches in Huizhou," said Guangdong CCC&TSPM.
