Church in Jiangsu, Fujian, Shanxi hosted in-person and virtual Christmas worship services.

Nansheng Church in Pinghe County, Fujian Province, conducted a praise and worship service on Christmas Day.

Based on Luke 2:13-14, a pastor gave a sermon with the title "Imitate Angel’s Praise", reminding attendees to always praise God’s love and marvelous salvation. In addition, an 83-year-old male Christian sang a song to praise God, and a female believer aged 88 volunteered to present a hymn in the South Fujian language.

Dushu Lake Church in Suzhou, Jiangsu, held two Christmas Eve worship services with the number of worshippers limited to no more than 200. Each service included hymns, a sermon, and a recorded Nativity play. Xu Changfu preached two sermons titled "Jesus Loves You", citing Ephesians 3: 18-19. He led believers, seekers, and first-time guests to grasp how wide and long and high and deep the love of God is, saying that only Jesus could give them the love they wanted.

The next day, the church held a Christmas worship service and a celebration, following the COVID-19 protocols.

Due to a spike of coronavirus cases, Yaodu District Church in Linfen, Shanxi, changed the onsite gatherings to five live broadcast praise and worship services at Christmas.
