Fujian Churches Donate Medical Supplies, Cooling Beverages to Combat COVID-19

Two churches in China’s southeastern coastal Fujian Province donated medical supplies, cold beverages to COVID-19 workers to fight against the epidemic.

Last Thursday, the church council director and believers of Beimen Church presented relief materials to the Jinhan She Ethnic Township in the Jiaocheng District, Ningde City, reported the church.

The church bought 15,000 yuan worth of protective clothing, medical masks, hand sanitizers, instant noodles, and other kinds of food.

Kuibi Church in Quangang District, Quanzhou City, bought cold beverages for medical staff and volunteers at the nucleic acid testing sites on March 19, donating 3000 yuan towards the COVID-19 prevention and control effort in Kuibi Village on April 2. Some female believers of the church made Hokkien Noodles for volunteers helping with epidemic prevention in the village on April 3, the church said.
