CCC&TSPM conducted a promotional activity in China’s southwestern Yunnan Province on World AIDS Day which fell on December 1.

With the support of the Social Service Department of China Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CCC&TSPM), an event to fight against AIDS was hosted by Baoshan Municipal CC&TSPM, Panshi Social Service Committee and the training organization affiliated with Baoshan Christian Council (CC) in Longyang District, Baoshan City, said the Social Service Department of CCC&TSPM.

The campaign was attended by relevant staff from the Baoshan Municipal AIDS Prevention Office, the Municipal CC&TSPM, Panshi Social Service Committee, and all the faculty and students of the training organization.

During the activity, they introduced AIDS prevention knowledge to about 300 citizens, distributing around 5,000 copies of materials. These leaflets included “Dr. Li Talks About AIDS”, “Key Points for AIDS Prevention and Control Publicity and Education”, “Drug Users”, “AIDS Antiviral Treatment”, and Red Ribbon brochures entitled "Let Love Overflow".

December 1, 2022, was the 35th “World AIDS Day” with the theme, “Equalize” which was determined by UNAIDS in 2022. The State Council AIDS Working Committee Office had decided and then announced that the theme of the publicity campaign in China for this year was, "Together Stop AIDS & Together Share Health", inviting all people to join hands in dealing with the risks and challenges brought about by the AIDS epidemic.
