A church in Guangdong Province held an ordination ceremony.
Guangdong CC&TSPM ordained a female pastor on December 22 in Huazhou Church in Maoming City, reported CCC&TSPM.
At the ceremony, Rev. Fan Hongen, chairman of Guangdong TSPM, preached a sermon with the title "Follow Me", citing John 21:15-25. He exhorted the newly ordained pastor to learn from the apostle Peter to follow Christ with perseverance and serve Him faithfully until death, and learn from our Lord Christ to be a shepherd with tolerance, obedience, and kindness.
Maoming Church has 20 gathering sites and more than 3,000 believers and lacks pastoral workers for a long time. The newly ordained pastor could be a great help to the church.
