Recently Christian singer Tsai Chin released her first gospel album, "Hallelujah", claimed to be the last physical album in her over 35-year career.

As a Christian, on hearing the famous song Hallelujah by Canadian poet singer Leonard Cohen the first time, she was touched by the lyrics. She was waiting for Chinese cover. There are many covers but no Chinese version, "while this has been really my wish." said Tsai.
"One night I heard a voice in my mind saying, 'Don't run away; you write it.' At that moment I got inspired and completed "Hallelujah" in the darkness in one go." she said in an interview by Taiwan media on February 26.
"My expectation for the gospel album is, besides to members, singing to non-Christians to comfort the broken heart, the frustrated cheer up."
The singer says the attractiveness of gospel songs is not vocal, but real faith experience as she understands more about forgiving and love after being religious. Therefore, the three-year refinement of the album resembles the maturity of her life.
Except the feature track, the album has six tracks including December 22, Precious Lord Take My Hand, Tuan Yuan and Psalms 23, etc.
After the release, Tsai Chin will hold gospel concert tours at Banqiao District, Taichung and Taibei on March 5, March 20 and 26.
