During World War II, Shanghai became a shelter for Jewish refugees fleeing the Holocaust in Europe, which composed a song of the friendship and love between the two nations.

Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum (formerly Ohel Moshe Synagogue) exhibits the historical records as well as real stories that those Jews strived to live positively with gratitude.
