After the popularity of the 'Descendants of the Sun', the Korean Broadcasting System is now expecting a lot from their current drama 'Uncontrollably Fond.' The drama stars Kim Woo Bin and Suzy Bae and has received both local and international promotions to ensure it can rise up to the popularity of the 'Descendants of the Sun' mania.

However, the drama is falling short with the ratings according to news reports as the third and fourth episodes record a drop in ratings as cited in the TNS Media Korea rankings. The same episode declines were also reported in another KBS drama 'Master: God of Noodles'. Regardless of the declines in the local market, KBS is not very worried because the Chinese market has become hooked with the series. According to the report of Youku Tudou, China's largest online video platform, at least 40 million paid viewers were attracted by the series. Furthermore, the searches for the series has also increased in Weibo from 500 million to 17.6 billion searches.

In a statement, public relations firm 3HW stated that "On the first day of the broadcast (for 'Uncontrollably Fond'), there was an overflow of traffic and the server of Youku crashed. Also, real-time replies from viewers flooded (the site) to (the point that) they even interfered with the screen."

The series 'Uncontrollably Fond' is shown every Wednesdays and Thursday at 9:55 pm KST on KBS and Chinese fans can livestream it on Youku Tudou.
