Goodbye "Descendants of the Sun"? Hello "Hwarang"!
The much-anticipated Korean historical drama which stars Park Seo Joon, BTS's V and Shinee's Minho was reportedly sold to China for a higher price than the Korean military drama "Descendants of the Sun".
A KBS representative has told Sports Today on May 2, "'Hwarang' will be air this coming winter."
The said representative has shared that the drama , like "Descendants of the Sun", will be pre-produced and the drama's filming is most likely to be done in coming July.
The rep also relayed, "'Hwarang' wasn't going to be pre-produced, but following 'DOTS' which was pre-produced, we decided to do the same [for 'Hwarang']. We have sold 'Hwarang' to China for a higher price than we did for 'DOTS.'"
The Korean dram series will feature a story of "Hwarang" or Flowring Knights, which are elite group of youth during the Silla's Kingdom.

With the much anticipation, "Descendants of the Sun" fans are now interested for this upcoming drama, hence, speculations about leaving "DOTS" and going for 'Hwarang' is now increasing. This might be true but no one can deny fans not just from China but also Asia and the world are still enjoying "DOTS" fever for now.
