'Uncontrollably Fond' Bae Suzy, First Ever South Korean Female Celebrity With Madame Tussauds' Wax Figure

Bae Su-ji, popularly known as Bae Suzy has been chosen by Madame Tussauds as the first female Korean artist to be turned into a wax figure. The said wax figure to be made will be displayed in Madame Tussauds Museum in Hong Kong.

On July 11, Monday, JYP Entertainment, "Uncontrollably Fond" Bae Suzy's agency announced that the wax figure of the famous South Korean artist will be displayed at the K-wave zone of Madame Tussaud's Hong Kong.

According to a report, to create the wax figure, the wax doll specialist flew from Britain and took seven hours to get the exact body measurements of Suzy.

"Suzy's wax figure will be inducted into the Hallyu exhibition hall at Hong Kong's Madame Tussauds. Suzy is the very first Korean female artist to be displayed as a wax figure," JYP Entertainment said in a statement obtained by All K-pop.

Suzy is also reported to be visiting Hong Kong in the August, just in time of revealing her wax figure. The actress talked about the historic honor means to her in another interview.

"As the first Korean female artist to be invited to Madame Tussauds, it's such an honor," Soompi quoted Suzy as saying. "Taking part in the long process of creating a wax figure was a new experience, and I want to say thank you to the production team. I'm looking forward to the day that the figure is up for fans to see."

With her upcoming launching of wax figure, Bae Suzy just joined the exclusive group of celebrities whose figures are result of extensive fans' request eager to see their idols on wax. A wax figure of her boyfriend, Lee Min Ho is currently as Shanghai's Madame Tussauds' Museum.

Meanwhile, Bae Suzy is currently starring at her new drama entitled "Uncontrollably Fond" alongside Kin Woo Bin.
