MBC's Drama "W" has been receiving positive feedbacks since it started airing. Reports claim this is due to the chemistry of the lead cast members. In relation, actor Lee Jong Suk opened up about this in a recent interview where he praised his "W" leading lady, Han Hyo Joo.
The 26-year-old actor admitted that "W" is among his most challenging acting projects. The "Pinocchio" star narrated how he read the initial scripts of "W' and thought it would not be really hard as he has got not too many for his parts as Kang Chul.
But, Lee Jong Suk eventually found out that he need to have more and more screen time as the story progressed and this is where he thanked Han Hyo Joo.
"Amidst the challenges, it helps that I'm working with [Han] Hyo Joo," he said in the interview, which was featured by Allkpop. "I'm grateful that even when the camera isn't recording her facial expressions, she does her best to react to me. She's also a much brighter person than I expected."
"W' revolves around the story of Oh Yeon Joo played by Han Hyo Joo, a female surgeon whose father is a famous webtoon artist. She teleports between reality and the webtoon. This fantasy realm is the place where she meets and falls in love with his dad's cartoon, Kang Chul played by Lee Jong Suk.
