Jeremy Lin appeared in a short spoof of the 1996 films, which featured Michael Jordan by teaming up with YouTube star Ryan Higa, popularly known by his followers as user nigahiga.
However, in Higa's "Space Jam 3," Lin played basketball with anime characters like Naruto, Goku, Sailor Moon and Yaami Yuugi instead of playing a character of "Looney Tunes."
The plot of "Space Jam 3" is most likely the same to that of the original film. It starts with Lin in a press conference announcing his retirement. According to the Nets star, his decision to retire is for him to focus on playing video games and watching anime.
This then directs to the next scene showing Lin playing "Overwatch" while at once watching a video of Naruto played by Higa. The character calls Lin's attention before drawing him into the screen.
The entire film is played with gags that stab fun at Lin's recent status in the NBA. Some jokes are about Lin's hairstyle, the fact that he's Asian and how he's mainstream near the status of Jordan and Lebron James.
