The Museum of the Bible is a 430,000-square-foot building located in Washington, D.C. The Museum is just two blocks away from the National Mall and three blocks away from the Nation's Capitol. According to the Museum's website, it will open to the public in the fall of 2017.
The Museum will provide visitors an immersive and personalized experience as they will get to witness the history, narrative, and impact of the Bible. It will also be using a cutting-edge technology to bring the Bible to life.
5. Crystal Cathedral
The Crystal Cathedral is considered a wonder of architecture that is located in Garden Grove, California. The cathedral houses both modern architectural designs and also tributes to the spendor of traditional Medieval-era cathedrals. It's also considered the largest glass building in the world built in the 1980s.
The Cathedral contains 10,000 panels of glass and has one of the largest musical instruments in the world called the 'Hazel Wright Memorial organ'. It also functions as a place of worship for the Crystal Cathedral Ministries and currently for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange.
