Hong Kong actress Grace Wong got married with her non-celebrity boyfriend of 11 years, Daniel Zhang, in a private ceremony held in New York last month. The couple has celebrated their marriage union again through a wedding banquet held in Hong Kong on July 11.
"I tied the knot with Daniel on June 11 in New York, [it was] very good! I feel extremely happy, in the morning, my bridesmaids helped me into my gown. Linda [Chung] also doubled up as my wedding chaperon and bridesmaid, as I didn't have a wedding chaperon," said Grace Wong about the wedding.
While only their close friends, family and relatives participated their wedding ceremony in June. The wedding banquet held in Hong Kong were participated by 300 guests.
Grace Wong and Daniel Zhang started dating 11 years ago. They met in New York and maintained a long-distance relationship after the 31-year-old actress pursued her acting profession in Hong Kong. After their wedding, her husband moved to Hong Kong.
"He already found a job - he gave up everything for me! July 11th is our 12-year anniversary, that's why I picked today [to hold the banquet]. It's a very commemorative date!" Wong shared."I can't believe I'm so moved by my own wedding. I started crying at the reception. I serenaded my husband with a song - he didn't expect it at all. He even asked me why I had a microphone."
Despite the fact that Wong's husband is very private and quiet, Zhang spoke a lot today to thank everyone who helped Grace grow and supported her throughout the past decade.
Grace Wong added that they will enjoy their marriage time now and they are planning to have children after two or three years.
