According to Chinese media outlets, insiders have revealed over China's Weibo yesterday, February 5 that F4 will be performing together again on CCTV's New Year's Gala, the annual program by the Chinese TV station to celebrate and welcome the Chinese New Year.
While there has been no confirmation of the news, if this information is true, this will be the group's first reunion since their last performance as a team on Jiangsu Television's New Year Performance in 2013.
The insider, who revealed to have a friend working on the CCTV's New Year programme, she saw that the four members of the famous Taiwan boy ban including Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu were rehearsing a performance together.
The insider shared that the line-up for the said Chinese New Year Gala is not confirmed and is still unsure what song will the group be performing. The netizens were hoping that they will perform their famous and iconic song, "Meteor Rain."
It can be recalled that Jerry Yan expressed his high hopes of performing together with the other F4 members with the song, "Meteor Rain."
"Wouldn't it be great to see the four of us sing Meteor Rain again?" the 41-year-old singer expressed.
Aside from F4, the Chinese New Year Gala has been revealed to have invited Chinese singers Na Ying, Faye Wong, Hong Kong actresses Cecilia Yip, Angie Chiu and the Taiwanese boy band, Little Tigers.
