It is still possible to reduce the risk of type 2 Diabetes by making a few changes in your diet and lifestyle.

What food should you eat to reduce the risk of diabetes?

Experts advise to eat strawberries to cut the chances of developing the condition.

Strawberries contain vitamin C and compounds like anthocyanins. In fact, eating fruits in general and meeting the five-day target is important to lower risk of type 2 Diabetes according to Diabetes UK.

Common symptoms include increased thirst, frequent urination, and unexplained weight loss."

"It may seem the sugar content of fruit means you would be increasing your risk, but the sugar in fruit is natural," Mirror UK reported. "Sugar that becomes a problem is found in sugary drinks, chocolates, cakes and so on."
