Now that climate change is happening, we are experiencing things we should not in the first place, if only we took great care of our environment.

If you can't still find the reason to care for the Earth you live in, despite the bad things currently happening in our environment, then read these Bible verses.

Christians are encouraged to take care of the Earth, a gift from God.

Caring For The Environment

Numbers 35:33-34

"You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it. You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell, for I the Lord dwell in the midst of the people of Israel."

Deuteronomy 22:6

"If you come across a bird's nest in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs and the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young."

Ezekiel 34:18

"Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to drink of clear water, that you must muddy the rest of the water with your feet?"

Deuteronomy 25:4

"You shall not muzzle an ox when it is treading out the grain."

James 3:7

"For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind"

Ecclesiastes 3:2

"A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted"

1 Timothy 4:4

"For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving"
