We all want to be cherished, treasured, appreciated, liked and loved by our friends and people surrounding us.

But, what if I told you that God never care about all of these things?

What if you know that God did not care about how many Facebook friends you have or how many people follow you on Twitter and Instagram?

What if you know that God is not worried about how famous you are?

In fact, what if I say that God's purpose of the Gospel is not to fit in but to stand out?

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." (Romans 12:2)

In this modern world, people are seeking to being wanted and liked. And whether we do not want to admit it, it is our culture that forces us to feel it; not to mention that it is also advertising us how to feel this.

The world always say that "failure is not an option," "If you are not first, you are last" and "If you are not somebody, then you are nobody."

But, if we seek the words of God, none of these statement are true at all. If we begin to understand and look deeper in the Bible, we understand that the world is giving us the wrong directions.

God has called us to be different and to stand against the grain. He called for us to be a city on a hilltop (Matthew 5:14) and to be the change and hope that the world is lacking right now.

Realizing that you do not fit in this world is a good thing because we were not made to fit in. We were made to fulfill God's calling. We are made to stand out for Him.
