Gloria Tang, who is popularly known as G.E.M recently showed off her groove on the drums.
The 25-year-old Hong kong singer wowed fans at Ion Orchard's outdoor event space ION on Wednesday evening performing a drum piece with Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo, who is in town for the Singapore Grand Prix (GP).
The duo reportedly thumped out a chorus on the drums. They were accompanied by local percussion group, The Urban Drum Crew. Their performace was part of Swiss watc Tag Heuer's free Don't Crack Under Pressure showcase which was attended by 700 fans.
Both G.E.M. and Ricciardo are ambassadors for the brand, which sponsor theF1 Red Bull Racing Team that Ricciardo belongs to.
"It was fun meeting Daniel at rehearsal. He's a really cool and kind guy," G.E.M. told The New Paper after the showcase, adding that they practice the drumming for just two minutes before the event.
The singer thanked her fans for their support.
"They came out to support me today and were so hyped up, even though this was not my concert," G.E.M. said.
"I'm very grateful to them and will definitely be back in Singapore when I tour next year," she added.
