In association with the Kathmandu-based churches, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association hosted a one-day "Leadership Summit Nepal" on August 31 at the Himalayan Hotel in Kupandol, Lalitpur.
Rev. Dr. Bill Newman, a well-known speaker addressed the Leadership Summit Nepal program about the qualities of a good leader and how the Holy Spirit is our best friend.
Rev. Dr. Robert Cunville, another speaker, also shared eight teachings from the sermon on the mount, the four Gospels, and the Great Commission. The speaker shared his biblical revelation with the pastor leaders present at the summit. The teachings during the summit were a blessing to the pastors and other leaders there.
Similarly, another speaker Rev. Dr. Sebastian Joseph taught about the leadership development strategies. Rev. Devkumar Chhetri, Elder Narayan Khadka and Rev. Rupnarayan Timilsina assisted in interpreting the teachings into the Nepali language.
According to the organizers, 250 pastor-leaders from various churches of the Kathmandu valley participated in the one-day conference entitled 'Leadership Summit Nepal'. Rev. Mukund Sharma and Rev. Rajendra Malla led the various sessions of the program efficiently.
Rev. Hanok Tamang, President of the National Churches Fellowship of Nepal (NCF Nepal) started the program by welcoming the international speakers from India and Australia for the one-day leadership summit in Nepal.
The opening prayer of the summit was offered by Rev. Pastor Dr. Mangalman Maharjan. Rev. Tej Jirel, Rev. Dr. Philemon Chhetri, Pastor Rajendra Malla, and Rev. Pastor Sonam T. Kabo led in prayer in various sessions. Likewise, Rev. Pastor Ravinkaji Baidhya and Zuber Lepcha led the worship.
The pastor-leaders participating in the leadership summit responded that the summit was very blessed.
According to the organizers, the US-based Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, which has spread globally, has said that it has organized the 'Leadership Summit Nepal' for the first time in Nepal targeting the pastor leaders of Nepal.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is a global mission organization founded in the name of the late Billy Graham, a world-famous evangelist from America.
