World Council of Churches (WCC) general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay will visit China from 23-28 May, where he will meet with the China Christian Council, WCC member churches, and inter-religious partners.

He will offer a greeting at St Paul’s Church. In addition, he will visit Nanjing Union Theological Seminary, Yonghe Temple, the Chinese Islamic Association, Chinese Catholic Patriotic Association, and Bishops Conference of the Catholic Church in China.

The China Christian Council was founded at the third national Christian conference in 1980 to unite and provide services for churches in China, formulate church order, and encourage theological education.
