American pastor and evangelist David Platt will teach six hours on the Gospel of Matthew online to support the "secret church."
On April 11, David Platt, lead pastor at McLean Bible Church in Virginia and founder of the evangelistic outreach ministry Radical, will speak at the Secret Church 2025, an annual one-night event hosted by Radical to study the Bible and pray for the persecuted church.
The event's website introduces, "Years ago, David Platt taught and ministered among underground Asian house churches where believers were forced to gather in secret, sometimes at the risk of their own lives due to hostility from the government, from the surrounding community, and even from their own families."
Participants are expected to "pray and support the church in Indonesia, North Korea, Myanmar, and other hard-to-reach places."
Local churches, small groups, and college ministries are encouraged to join together as a group.
The stream will be available to replay by May 15. A digital copy of the Guided Scripture Journal will be provided to know the persecuted church before registering by April 2.
