Easter 2025 has just passed. Based on interviews and travels, the editorial team of the Gospel Times, an online Chinese Christian newspaper, discussed their observations from Holy Week activities in various local churches. They identified several new trends emerging in the registered Chinese church.

On December 24, 2019, the Christmas Eve, churches across China held celebrations in different forms to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. Services, lights, Christmas trees, singing voices, and dances were conducted throughout churches and seminaries from the north to the south.

On April 14, 2019, churches throughout China celebrated Palm Sunday with special services and processionals.
