When joining the church and starting to serve in a real circumstance, what aspects should young pastoral staff pay attention to?

From my personal experience, the rural churches don't become poor for paying their pastors, but my payment has increased with the rising offerings. If more rural churches can try to provide workers with enough living expenses, maybe many ministers can stay.
