The Japanese series "Operation Love" will be getting a Chinese remake as EXO's Lay has been reportedly confirmed to headline for the series remake and will be joined by actress Chen Duling. Duling became popular for winning a Chinese college student ulzzang competition.
The series revolves around the story of a man who travels back in time to change his fate with his first love, who, at present, will be getting married to another man. A Korean remake was released in 2012 under the title "Operation Proposal" starring Yoo Seung Ho and Park Eun Bin.
It is expected that both actors will be beginning filming this November.
Lay has been making a name for himself in the Chinese drama scene as his latest drama "The Mystic Nine", has enjoyed quite a huge following in China and last September, it has exceeded 10 billion views in iQiyi.
