Only Christians who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 are allowed to enter a Hebei church.

Since the closure from May 22, Yanjiao Church in Sanhe City released a notice last Friday that it would resume in-person Sunday services on June 27, but only around 50 vaccinated believers are permitted to attend morning services under real-name management.

Participants should show their identity cards, have their health codes scanned and their temperatures measured before sitting one meter apart from one another in the sanctuary.

The church has still suspended other on-site meetings or gatherings during weekdays.

It is said that a megachurch in Beijing is collecting the statistics on the number of vaccinated members.
