"I grew up in a Christian family and so did Kaká. He decided to be a professional player at 15. Then in an accident his cervical vertebrae was broken and he thought his career must have had ended. But then he believed that God stretched out hands to save him and gave him professional career. In his story I can see his faith in God. It touched me a lot. Moreover, he got the Ballon d'Or at the time when I began to explore my career. I was just ten year old that time. Kaká is one of my goals, his personality, his soccer-playing and his attitude toward life. "

Talking about the upcoming the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship qualification, Zhang thinks the match with Qatar the host will be a challenge but he won't fear and will play the match with common mind. "Like the team matches, they are all hard. Usually the most difficult match is the first because everyone doesn't know what condition is the rival and the football field in. I will focus all on and pay the attention to the first match. I insist on my previous word: fear is something we fabricate in our own minds and danger is always there, unchanging. So why afraid? Just do it. Everything you paid and prepared for yourself, you have prepared already, so why do you worry? Then I will face it with calm mind. "
