The Amity Foundation was awarded “Influential Charity of the Year” and “Rural Revitalization Contribution of the Year.”
On January 8, the China Philanthropist's Impactful Philanthropy Research Institute initiated the Impactful Philanthropy Forum under the theme "Breaking Boundaries," which urged participation in the public welfare among individuals from all walks of life at the Beijing International Convention Center.
Mr. Qiu Zhonghui, board chair of the Amity Foundation, delivered a themed speech, "Influence Lies in Persistence," on the forum. Mr. Qiu emphasized that effective collaboration not only involves transformation in terms of projects, resources, institutions, and talents and advancement in transparency, recognition, dissemination, standardization, execution, cooperation, and credibility within the organization, but also requires cooperation with the government, academia, media, enterprises, industry, and voluntary forces for innovative development. He also anticipated future partnerships with all sectors of society.
Co-hosted by Chinese Philanthropist and Sina Microblog, the "Perseverance in Philanthropy" 2023 Charity Ceremony commenced in the evening. Among the 14 awards presented at the ceremony, the Foundation won the "Influential Charity of the Year," and its rural revitalization medical development project got the "Rural Revitalization Contribution of the Year."
