On February 21, 2016, the day before the Lantern Festival, Haidian Church held "Lantern Festival Theme" music worship. Believers thanked for God's abundant supply and blessed that the Lord's grace could be with them in the new year.
The choir gave choruses and the congregation sang with them. The pastors and volunteers held the plates to distribute tangyuan, a Chinese food eaten on the special day, to the congregations. Then some believers who were touched sang songs and praised God on the stage.
Later it went to the part of guessing the Lantern riddles, a traditional activity. Believers were active to solve the riddles whose answers were the people's names in the Bible or place names. The winners were awarded with the Bible.
One of the pastoral staff says, "Seeing the books of the Bible were given away to winner, I feel really happy for them. The congregation is particularly high, rejoicing like a child."
The worship ended with Rev. Fan Guoxing's benediction and a song.
