People sometimes forget what it feels like to be a child and what they see when they were kids. In order to let people remember it again, the members of a youth fellowship in Zhushu Church held a special event entitled "Be Converted and Become like Little Children" on the evening of June 5. They were invited to turn into little children who enjoy the love of God for this one special night.
The even began with a children's song called 'The Father's Garden'. Afterwards, the members played the first game called "Guess Words by Pssing Acton", which told them that their deeds and speeches have influence and they should be careful with what they convey and make sure it is correct or is favored by God or not.
A participator, throughout the event, learns that the heavenly father cares for them. In the last game 'Walking Out of Darkness', a member is required to listen and follow the leader's instructions to get rid of the traps placed in the game.
A sister shared her learning in the event:
1. You can walk out of darkness instead of getting lost as long as you follow the instructions.
Because God's instructions are never wrong. We can walk out of difficulties and obstacles if we listen to God.
2. When she sees someone disturbs the team and confuses the order given, consequently, the walking man is unlikely to hear the voice or follow his orders since it was blocked.
It reminds her that we should listen to God's voice wholeheartedly as well as distinguish its source: God or the evil one.
3. The leader who gives orders tells the member who wears the eyeshade, "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. Listen to me."
Through this she thinks that our heavenly father knows the road ahead when we're in darkness and at a loss. As we traverse in the darkness, He keeps encouraging us to believe Him and be courageous.
Later, the congregation prayed to God.
"Ask God to enlighten us to see how much time we lost when we left Him, oppressed by the world. Constant working by ourselves to strive for our survival and the busy life and work lost people both the rest God gives us and the time we draw near to God. We cry out to God to help us be His real sons, not orphans. We want to convert to Abba Father and be His precious children."
