FUJIAN - A new church named Wufeng Church is being reconstructed at the foot of a mountain in Yongchun County, Quanzhou. Currently the principal part of the project has been completed. Suffered from decades of rain and wind erosion, the former one was an old dangerous church building.
The new three-story church building covers an area of 1218 square meters (annexe included) at the expense of 1.8 million yuan. Short of money, it initiates fundraising to continue the following interior decoration. The members also participates in the building.
At present the congregation attends services in a temporary rented apartment of a building owned by a village committee.
