A business fellowship in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia launched a fundraising program to pay for the surgery and treatment costs of a Christian couple currently ailing from a severe disease.

It has contributed 10000 yuan and continues to collect funds amounting to 50000 yuan online to add to the current contribution. The fund had reached the half of the targeted sum by June 27, according to "Prairie Hymn", a WeChat platform that publishes the Christian news of Inner Mongolia.

The platform also reported the details about the couple.Wang Junsheng, the husband, was diagnosed with nephritis early this year while his wife, Geng Supai, a church volunteer, had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. She had served the Lord for more than two decades, including planting and building churches.

The couple lives in a low-rent apartment with only over 40 square meters without salaries and live only on subsistence allowances.

Rev. Xie Baohua, the chairman of the provincial CCC&TSPM, had made several visits to the sister and donated some money from the tuition fee of his children to her.

"What we do is not only related to money, but also to share the love of the big family of the Lord. I hope everyone to pray for this family more and ask the Lord to have mercy! " Rev. Xie once said.
