There's a church for the blind in Bali Kiln Village, Qili River District, Lanzhou with stories that would inspire people. The congregation there gathers in a bungalow with the red wood door of the church without paint.

A local Christian tells CCD that there were about two dozens of believers in the church, the majority of whom are blind and about three or four could see, when he visited the church in July 2013.

A three-minute video shot by him recorded the scene as to how believers sang hymns and a blind brother took charge of the piano accompaniment.

He said that they can sing most of the 400 songs from The Chinese New Hymnal, a popular hymn book for worship in the Protestant churches in China.

Besides these worship sessions, there's a fellowship for the blind in Haerbin, a home for the vulnerable group founded for 15 years.
