Until the middle of August, 2016, the pastoral staff of Haidian Church has visited the areas' believers for 23 weeks. Recently, they visited three believers' families, including the Brents, foreigners staying in Beijing.

The team first visited a sister who is responsible for a subordinate gathering and cleans the church in the early morning of Sundays.

Later, they visited and communicated with a sister and her son who is recovering from leukemia after the successful bone marrow transplant.

The Brents, who has three children, all joined in the music ministry in the church. The team saw the work and blessings from the Holy Spirit in their marriage and were moved by their love for God and their service.

Established in 1933, the Haidian Church was renovated in 2005. The church was officially dedicated in 2007 and located in the western section of Zhongguancun, "China's Silicon Valley." The church has a multitude of ministries to cater to all ages. It has six Sunday services starting from 7 am to 7 pm. One of these services are done in English, which is often a preference for foreign visitors in the area.
