On May 15, 14 seekers have been welcomed by Beijing's Haidian Church into the Christian world as they have been baptized in the Church's fifth service for the day.

Each seeker recited the Apostles' Creed alongside the entire congregation and took part in their first communion.

The Haidian Church was established in 1933 and renovated in 2005. The church was officially dedicated in 2007 and located in the western section of Zhongguancun, "China's Silicon Valley." The church has a multitude of ministries to cater to all ages and it has six Sunday services starting from 7 am to 7 pm. One of these services are done in English, which is often a preference for foreign visitors in the area.
