Local Gov’t Closes Allegedly "Illegal" Christian Gathering in Hainan

Sanya Daily reported that the civil affairs bureau of Tianya District, members of the law enforcement group and other related government departments closed an allegedly illegal Christian gathering named Oriental Church in Chunyuan Community in Sanya, Hainan, on the morning of August 10, according to Regulations on Religious Affairs issued in 2004.
