There is an offshore Aranya church in Qinhuangdao, a city of Hebei Province in China. The church is located in Aranya gold coast community, which is a coastal tourist resort in Changli County.

A design team called Vector Architects designed the concrete church on the beach and named it Costal Church. Believers in Beidaihe worship here.

The church is the closest building to the sea in Beidaihe. The designer says it forms a sacred feeling for Christians. According to the official Sina Weibo of Anaya, the church is aimed to build a spiritual world for people living here. They can have communication with God and themselves so as to get the purification and sublimation of the soul.

The church is made up of a 30-meter- long staircase and a building with a triangle roof, looking like a ship on the beach from a distance. Concrete columns support the church and avoid erosion by water inside the building. At low tide, the church can be used as a shelter. At high tide, it is difficult to reach the church because water floods lower part of the church.
