From Oct 25-27, the 2016 CCCTSPM Project Sharing Meeting for "Intervention of High-Risk Behavior of AIDS and the Care for Infected Patients" was successfully hosted in Xi'an. More than 50 persons in charge of the CCVTSPM of Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, and Shaanxi provinces attended the meeting. The meeting was co-hosted by CCCTSPM and Shaanxi CCCTSPM.
On the morning of the 25th, Pastor Gao Feng, chairman of China Christian Council stated that the event was a response to the arrangement of "Religious Charity Week" by the State Administration for Religious Affairs. And it was also an important annual project to support social services with the purpose of "Serving the grassroots Churches, and supporting AIDS prevention according to local conditions." Pastor Gao Feng hoped that while the churches carry out the work, they should appeal to the whole society to focus on the prevention and control of AIDS, and the service projects for caring for the infected patients.
From the 25th to 27th, three fellow workers from Shaanxi Red Ribbon Association of Xi'an East eleven Lane fellowship taught the courses on "AIDS Voluntary Counseling and Testing", "AIDS and Social Discrimination" and "How to Carry Out Outreach Activities" so that people could have a better understanding of AIDS and the prevention work.
On the 26th, Fellow worker Wu Yuming of Yunnan Dali LinYuZe Health & Care Education Center, Fellow worker Ren Yichao of Church Ministry Committee of Yunnan Baoshan Panshi Christian Church, and Fellow worker Luo Yunchun of Hunan Hengyang Christian benevolent care center lectured on "Psychological detoxification, Care for Infected Patients, and Institutional Construction", "Introduction to Baoshan Gospel rehabilitation services" and "Development for AIDS prevention and Institutional Growth" respectively. Fellow worker Zhu Qingchun of Henan CC&TSPM and Fellow worker Zhang Chao of Guangxi CC&TSPM shared "Introduction of AIDS Prevention service in Henan Church" and "Ministry exchange of AIDS prevention and social service in Guangxi Church" respectively.
On the morning of the 27th, the attending members visited the "Shaanxi Red Ribbon Association" of Xi'an East eleven Lane fellowship and the Orphanage. The person in charge of the meeting, He Qicong introduced the main work and the achievements of the association, shared work experience, and answered questions one by one.
